This past Sunday Becky and I went to the Nagasaki Bio Park. Our son had a soccer tournament far enough away that he rode the team bus and we had the day to ourselves. I am not sure why but I didn’t have high expectations of the place. We’ve lived in Japan for three years now and I hadn’t been yet. So I mostly went along because Becky suggested it and I saw it as a way for us to spend some time together and maybe take a few photos.
I was completely wrong to doubt it’d be a cool place to check out. We spent over four hours wandering around and looking at all of the different animals. There were lots of different exhibits where you could feed the animals and I think we spent all of the small bills we had feeding goats, capybaras, monkeys, hippos, and ducks. I came back grinning from ear to ear and had one of the best days in recent memory. Here are a few of the images I captured there:
